The purpose of salvation is to bring lost sinners into personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is done through repentance and faith. Repentance is turning from sin and turning to Christ. Faith is trusting Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.

Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every believer should be in an active relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.

In the New Testament command to be salt and light to the earth.
